Summer Camps
Grand Adventure Camps
Full day camps for children 1st-5th grades who want an active fun-filled experience. Get them out of the house, away from the TV and video games! Children will take exciting field trips to LegoLand, water parks, the Lincoln Park Zoo and more. There will be weekly swimming trips to local pools, sports days and a young entrepreneurs club where the children will run their own business. Adventure Camps are flexible with five camps to choose from, daily schedules and extended day options. Each day the camp runs from 9 am until 4 pm, with lunch and snacks included. All camps are lead by experienced, full time Grand Avenue staff members; CPR/1st Aid trained, with years of experience creating fun and safe environments.
Summer Enrichment Camps
Half day camps for grades 1st-3rd morning or afternoon. The Summer Enrichment Camps ensure your child’s active, growing mind will not take a summer vacation! Fun, hand’s-on themes keep them learning, inspired, and eager to attend. Their experiences will provide plenty of material for family dinner-time discussions. Camp themes change every two weeks e.g. GAP Gourmets, Building With My Buddies, Messy Science, Wet & Wild Escapades, and Space…The Final Frontier. The Enrichment Camps are conducted by Grand Avenue experienced teachers in our nationally accredited school. Each themed camp is two weeks in length so parents may select one or several topics, morning or afternoon.
Preschool Summer Camps
For children ages 3-5, half day, am or pm, the preschool summer camps provide active, fun days. Gross motor activity combined with fun-filled themes work to inspire the curiosity of the children. There are five themed camps to choose from including, Digging for Dinosaurs, Journey to Seussville, Let’s Peek in the Pond, Blast Off, and Splish Splash. Each themed camp is two weeks in length. Parents may select one theme camp or several, morning or afternoon. Snacks and a summer camp T-Shirt are included. All camps are lead by Grand Avenue experienced teachers in our nationally accredited school.
