My name is JoAnn Buralli, and I am the Center Director for Grand Avenue Preschool in Western Springs. I have spent the last 32 years of my life getting to know the wonderful families and children that have passed through these doors as a teacher, Assistant Director & Center Director. My life is filled with so many wonderful memories from being a teacher for three- and four-year-olds, kindergarten, and first through fifth graders. The lessons I’ve learned from my students helped me to become a better parent and human being. I have grown up in this area, graduated from Lyons Township High School and Rosary, and now Dominican University in River Forest. I enjoy spending time with my husband and twin sons, learning new recipes, and keeping up with old family traditions.
