Meet Our Director
Hello, my name is Julie Navarro, and I am the Center Director of Grand Avenue Preschool & Daycare for Burr Ridge/LaGrange Highlands. I am vibrant and compassionate, with over 15 years of experience managing classrooms and leading educators to their highest potential.
I am at my best when I get to work with students and collaborate with teachers and parents. This position is not a job for me; it is my passion that I get to engage in daily. I am happily married, and we are blessed to have two children. We love to explore and try new restaurants while being involved in local communities.
Meet Our Assistant Director
Welcome to our Grand Avenue Family! My name is Samantha and I have served as an Assistant Director in our School-Age Program for nearly two years, bringing with me over five years of experience in early childhood education. I have also worked as a paraprofessional, supporting children with special needs, and I am deeply committed to creating inclusive, nurturing learning environments where every child can thrive.
Outside of work, I am happily married, a proud mom of three, and a former foster mom. I have a lifelong passion for working with children from birth through school age and strive to bring compassion, patience, and understanding into everything I do. I find great joy in supporting each child’s growth and celebrating every milestone along their learning journey.
