Meet Our Director
Hello, my name is Julie Navarro, and I am the Center Director of Grand Avenue Preschool & Daycare for Burr Ridge/LaGrange Highlands. I am vibrant and compassionate, with over 15 years of experience managing classrooms and leading educators to their highest potential.
I am at my best when I get to work with students and collaborate with teachers and parents. This position is not a job for me; it is my passion that I get to engage in daily. I am happily married, and we are blessed to have two children. We love to explore and try new restaurants while being involved in local communities.

Meet Our Assistant Director
My name is Lauren, and I have been working in early childhood education for about 10 years. Teaching has been a lifelong passion of mine. I can remember setting up a classroom in my bedroom for my dolls and pretending to be their teacher.
Even as a child, I loved learning and sharing knowledge with others. I would spend time at family gatherings teaching my cousin addition, subtraction, and fractions in her basement. She later became a mathematician, which makes those early teaching moments even more meaningful.
I am proud to bring that same passion for learning into the classroom today, creating an environment where children feel inspired, supported, and excited to grow.
